Creating a colloid and investigating it's properties was the objective of "Making Butter". This is a popular lab because it's one of the few labs where the students can eat their results!

In a different type of activity, the students had to use some creativity. "Temple of Balance" required the students to attempt to balance 6 nails on the head of a seventh, vertical nail. There is one "correct" answer, but some students discovered their own solutions to this problem!!!
